Frances M. Falcione, 99, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Dominic and Lillian (Belladonna) Iovino and grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts. Frances was a graduate of Lexington High School.
After the untimely death of her beloved husband, Pasquale Falcione, in 1964, she devoted herself to raising her four children and making sure her family had everything they needed.
Over the years, Frances worked many different jobs, always doing whatever was needed to provide for and care for her family. She worked at Jefferson Union Plumbing Co. and later held clerical positions at Fort Devens. She ultimately retired from the Bedford High School Cafeteria.
She loved spending time working in her yard and tending to her garden, taking pride in the beauty she created around her home. She also enjoyed crafting, ceramics, and visiting yard sales, where she could often be found searching for a special treasure.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pasqule, her sisters, Mary Kennard, Josephine Caporizzo, Violet Foster, Esther DiLuca, and her brothers, Pasqualino Iovino, and Dominic Iovino Jr.
She is survived by her four children, Susan Aker, Lillian DeNapoli, Joseph Falcione and Patricia Falcione-Perez, her grandchildren, Patricia Lencki, Nicole Falcione, Robert Falcione, Ashley DeNapoli, Derek Perez, John DeNapoli, Patrick Aker, Richard Falcione and Lyle Aker, her great grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, Sophia and Lorenzo and her sisters, Jean Iovino, Ruth Benoit and Nadine Kostriza.
Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Wednesday, August 26, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 27, at 10:00 AM. Followed by interment at Shawsheen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
