Frances M. Anthony, 88, of Bedford died on July 27, 2012, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Anthony was born and raised in Lexington, one of eight children of the late Jess and Mary (Grace) Curra.

She moved to Bedford in 1946 to raise her family and was a member of St. Michael Parish.

Mrs. Anthony was employed by the Town of Bedford and worked for forty seven years at the Bedford High School cafeteria as a cashier.

She was the devoted wife of Richard L. Anthony, loving mother of Lionel Anthony and his wife, Anita of Derry, NH and Philip Anthony and his wife, Jan of Bedford, dear sister of Theresa Ross of Walpole, NH., cherished grandmother of Richard Anthony and his wife, Sanaz-Samali Anthony, Thomas Anthony and his wife Marguerite, Jennifer Anthony and Christine Ferrelli and her husband, Michael, Philip Jr. and his wife Shana and Kathryn Anthony. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Anthony was predeceased by six siblings.

Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd., Bedford, Tues., July 31, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 A.M. Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Mon., July 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Interment will be in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
