Eveline "Lynne" Wolf, 78, of Bedford, died October 28, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Lucy (Malcolm) Rose. Her early years were spent in Albany, New York and later her family moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where she attended Pittsfield High School, graduating in 1962.
Lynne went on receive her Bachelor's degree in 1966 from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York and Master's in Counselor Education in 1967 from Boston University.
In 1967, she married Jared "Jerry" Wolf and in 1974 moved to Bedford.
Lynne worked as a School Adjustment Counselor and Psychometrist at Tewksbury Public Schools, Lead Teacher and Director at Pilgrim Nursery School in Lexington, and as office staff at Indian Hill Music Center in Littleton.
Lynne was active in the Bedford community and volunteered for CSF of Bedford Dollars for Scholars and Bedford Patrons of Music Students, with terms as President in both. She was also an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she served as vestry member and Senior Warden, was a member of the Outreach Committee, sang in the choir, served as pledge recorder, and was a stalwart of the Crafts table at the annual Advent Fair for many years.
She found joy in making handcrafts, from small ornaments to quilts, and sharing these creations with her family and others. In retirement she found passions for photography and traveling. She had many opportunities to combine those two around the U.S. and the world.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wolf, her children and their spouses, Rebecca Ricci and her husband Peter of Bedford and David Wolf and his wife Megan of Marlborough and her grandchildren, Jo and Quinn Ricci and Declan Wolf.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd., Bedford, on Friday, November 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
A Memorial Eucharist in thanksgiving for Lynne's life will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 100 Pine Hill Rd., Bedford, on Saturday, November 19 at 10:30 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 100 Pine Hill Rd., Bedford, MA 01730 or to Patrons of Music Students (POMS), c/o Bedford High School, 9 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA 01730.
