Elizabeth C. (Johnson) Philipson, 92, of Chelmsford and formerly of Lexington, died on February 17, 2018.

She was the daughter of the late Peter and Elsa Johnson. Elizabeth, known as "Betty",  was born and raised in Lexington and was a graduate of Lexington High School.

For many years, she worked as a secretary in the insurance industry.She was a member of Grace Chapel in Lexington and upon moving to Chelmsford, became a member of the Lutheran Trinity Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as in her garden.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Conard A. Philipson and by her brothers, Harold, Richard, Donald, Gus and Peter Johnson and nephew, Carl Johnson.

She was the aunt of, Linda Bellantoni, Florence McKinney, Harry Johnson, James Johnson and John Johnson and Andrew and Alan Miller, great aunt of Lisa and Michael Bellantoni, Anne O'Brien, Michelle DeWolf, Joseph, Jamie, David and Danny Johnson and Kristina Berquist and Karl and Kevin Johnson. She is also survived by great grandnephew, Nicholas Bellantoni. She is survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Thurs., Feb. 22, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Funeral service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 170 Old Westford Rd., Chelmsford, on Fri., Feb. 23, at 11:00 AM.

Interment at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
