Mrs. Mastromatteo was born in East Boston on November 4, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Amidio and Grace (Vincenzo) DeLucia.

She was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. In 1953, she married Peter Dante Mastromatteo of Bedford.

She moved to Bedford in 1953 and was a parishioner at St. Michael Church and former participant in the activities of the Bedford Council on Aging.

She was retired from Instrumentation Labs, where she had worked as a residential manager for 25 years.

Her greatest joys in life were caring for her family, gardening, and cooking elaborate meals for her family and friends.

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter D. Mastromatteo, loving mother of Cheryl Milroy of Bedford and the late Sharlene Mastromatteo, mother-in-law of the late Douglas Milroy of Bedford and sister of the late Joan Grasso and Mary Nigro of Arlington, MA.

Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford on Wed. July 9 at 8 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford at 9 A.M. Visitation at the funeral home on Tues. from 5:30-7:30 P.M.

Interment will be at Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
