Elaine M. (Zitano) Koury of Bedford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 91, on December 15, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Dr. Michael Koury for 31 years.  Loving mother of Susan Smith and her husband Austin of Medford, Matthew Koury and his wife Ruth of Medford, Marcia Koury and her husband John Crapo of Woburn, Christopher Koury and his wife Deborah of Reading, and Joanne Sullivan and her husband Patrick of Reading. Sister of Edward Zitano of Swampscott, Francis Zitano of Revere and the late Peter Zitano. Also survived by her nine grandchildren Madeline, Austin, Michael, Caroline, Jennifer, Julia, Grace, Brenna and Matthew.

Funeral from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd, Bedford on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 10:00 a.m.

Visiting hours at the funeral home Wednesday., December 20, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Relatives and friends invited.
