Eileen M. Williamson, 80, formerly of Bedford, died on November 14, 2018.

She was the daughter of the late Charles P. and Evelyn (McNeil) Blackman.

She was born and raised in Waltham and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School.

Following graduation, she went on to Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing and then continued her education by earning her Bachelor of Science at Lowell State College and master's and doctorate in nursing at Boston University.

Mrs. Williamson worked as a nurse for a number of years and then went on to teach community health at UMass Lowell for 25 years.

She was a resident of Bedford for over 50 years and was a member of St. Michael Parish.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Edward J. Williamson, her sons, Michael Williamson and his wife Karen of Salem, MA and John Williamson and his wife Anne Williams of Atlanta, GA and grandchildren, Eamon, Emma and Casey Williamson.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Friday, November 16, from 2:00-3:30 PM.
