Edward W. McMahon, 90, long-time resident of Bedford, died March 11, 2023, in Texas.

He was the son of the late Philip E. and Ethel C. (Bell) McMahon.

From 1952-1956, he honorably served in the United States Air Force (USAF) during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, he worked as a security officer for the USAF for many years and also had a distinguished career in security at Eastern Airlines.

Mr. McMahon was an active member of St. Michael Parish in Bedford and a member of the American Legion Post 221.

He is survived by his loving family, sister, Florence Sebastian, and his niece, Charlotte Rivera and her husband, Francisco, and children, Phillip and Sophia, all of Lewisville, TX. He also has numerous cousins and extended family throughout Massachusetts.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 1, at 10:15 AM, at Shawsheen Cemetery, Shawsheen Rd., Bedford.
