Dorothy M. Crittenden, of Bedford, died on June 2, 2022, following a brief illness.

She was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Alfred E. and Agnes (Flynn) Mason.

Dorothy was raised in West Roxbury and was a graduate Boston Latin High School.

For several years she was a sales associate at Macy's in Burlington.

For over 50 years, she has been a resident of Bedford and a member of St. Michael Parish.

She enjoyed visits to Sarasota, Florida where would walk along the beach as well as walking along the bike bath in Bedford.

She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Crittenden and her sisters, Barbara Hilly and Agnes Beardsworth and great grandson, Jack Sullivan.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette Lawrence and her husband Mark and Carole J. Reed and her husband Tim, grandchildren, James Lawrence and his wife Nicki, Nicole Sullivan and her husband Brian, Brian Lawrence and Guston and Dabney Reed, great grandchildren, Briella and Keira Lawrence, Tyler Henderson and Mackenzie and James Sullivan and her nephew, Robert Beardsworth.

Visitation at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Tuesday, June 7, from 5:00-7:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, on Wednesday, June 8, at 10:00 AM.
