Donna Iovino, 51, of Bedford died surrounded by her loving family on February 16, 2014.

Donna was born in Cambridge, Mass. on May 17, 1962, and she was the daughter of the late Harry and Doris (Lanciault) O'Connor.

She lived in Somerville for many years where she attended St. Raphael School. She had lived in Bedford for the past thirty-six years and was a member of Bedford High School, Class of 1980. She was also a graduate of Middlesex Community College in Bedford where she earned her Associates degree.

Donna was employed for many years by Instrumentation Laboratory as an executive secretary. She was also salesperson for the Longaberger Basket Co.

Active in the community, she was very involved with fundraising for the Pop Warner program and the Pan Mass Kids' Ride. She was recently involved with a local fundraising event that led to the donation of thousands to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She was a member of St. Michael Parish.

She loved caring for her family and gardening.

She was the devoted wife of Bob and loving mother of Andrea and Robert of Bedford; dear sister of Harry and Maureen O'Connor of Burlington, Kevin and Diana O'Connor of Las Vegas, NV and Patricia and Rob Marciano of Woburn; cherished daughter-in-law of Fran Iovino of Bedford. Also survived brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patsy and Eileen Iovino, Helen Iovino, Dommy and Linda Iovino, Richie and Cindy Iovino, Jimmy Iovino, Terri Iovino and John, Peggy and Doug Higgins, Louis and Sharon Iovino, Tony and Mary Iovino, Mary Iovino, Dottie Iovino and Rick, Lena and Tim Earl, and Kim and Rob Fitzgerald; many nieces and nephews, and beloved, cousins Debbie Leeman, Jean and Jim Gorski, Elaine and Donnie Davis, Carolyn and Carmine Conte and Karen Kenney.

She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Patsy and brother-in-law, Charlie and aunt, Shirley Kenney.


Her funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, Fri., Feb. 21, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 A.M. Visitation at the funeral home on Thurs., Feb 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
