Donald E. L'Heureux, 67, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025 following a courageous battle with glioblastoma cancer.

Don was born on March 11, 1958 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Lt. Colonel Donald H. L'Heureux (USAF) and Josephine K. L'Heureux, and was raised and educated primarily in Bedford, Massachusetts. Throughout his life, Don was known for his warmth, integrity and the quiet strength with which he faced both joys and challenges.

Always good with his hands, and able to fix anything, Don was self-employed for most of his adult life, owning and operating Carlisle Repair for many years. As a community business owner, he always went the extra mile to help his customers - many of whom became close friends over the years. His dedication, honesty and down-to-earth approach left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Blessed with a great sense of humor, Don loved cars, planes and music of all types. He was a passionate supporter of all New England professional sports teams, cheering them on with great enthusiasm throughout his life.

He is survived by his son, Ryan, his daughter-in-law, Abigail and his beloved granddaughter Cecelia, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He is also survived by his brothers Michael (and partner Aline) of Bedford, MA; Lawrence (and wife Ann Marie) of Billerica; his sister Laurie, of Billerica; his brother David (and wife Barbara) of Burlington, MA; and his loving nieces Denise and Jennifer and nephew Dominic.

Don was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He touched the lives of many with his steady presence and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
