Domenic Trano of Lexington lost his battle to cancer at home on May 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved son the late Anna (Fantasia) and Frank Trano.

Dom received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College. At age 40, he attended Northeastern University and became a registered health information administrator. He was soon working at Children's Hospital, New England Medical Center and most recently Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital.

Dom had a thorough knowledge of medical information and his specialty was responding and releasing legal requests in an efficient and courteous manner; thereby helping many patients, doctors and coworkers.

He leaves his aunt, Mary Nuovo of Woburn and her son Robert of New York, cousins, Rita and Sal DiDomenico of Tewksbury, Raffaele Trano and his sister Concetta of Gaeta, Italy and many other cousins here and in Italy.

Dom was respected and loved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed.

Visiting hours will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Friday May 11, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Visitation to be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 12, at 10:00 AM followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately at Westview Cemetery, 201 Bedford St., Lexington.
