David R.
Harrington
Aug 31, 1930 — Mar 24, 2026
David R. Harrington of Belmont and formerly of Bedford and Lexington, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at the age of 95.
David was an electrician and worked for 33 years for Itek in Lexington. Lovingly known as "The Dad" and "Grampa," his favorite way of spending his free time was with his family: camping at White Lake State Park, fishing at Swift River, and going to the Deerfield Fair. David also liked listening to the oldies on the Memories Station, puttering around the yard, and visiting the Nubble Lighthouse with Lucy. David was well-known for his quiet sense of humor, with some great one-liners that got everyone laughing.
David was the husband of the late Lucy (Hogan) Harrington and is survived by his children Deborah (James) Cullen, James (Cynthia) Harrington and Jean (Allan) Coady, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Anne Rabeuf and the late Philip Harrington, Kenneth Harrington and Janet Coleman.
A private graveside service will be held at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
