Claire P. Grant, 94, of Lexington, passed away on April 5, 2020.

She was raised in Fairhaven and was the daughter of the late Millard B. and Estelle (Cygan) Hopey.

In 1945, she married James L. Grant and resided in Lexington for 75 years .

Mrs. Grant was an active member in St. Brigid Church. Her faith was unparalleled and she loved reading, seafood, flowers, cats and most of all, her family.

She was predeceased by her husband James in 1996.

Claire was a loving caring mother who is survived by her children, James P. Grant of Arlington, Judi Lee Grant of FL, Brian D. Grant of Woburn and Kathy A. Grogan of Lexington, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be private at this time. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date to be announced.
