Christine H. Lamb, 60, of Bedford, died on September 6, 2018, in Acton, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 8, 1958, in Dorchester.

She graduated from Quincy High School and in 1980, she received a degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University.

While working at the Quincy Courthouse as a probation officer she met Donald Lamb, who was working as a Braintree Police Officer. They were married on April 17, 1983 at St. John's Church in Quincy.

After their marriage, Chris and Don moved to Weymouth. In 1991, they moved to Bedford and Chris began working in Lexington at a physician's office. She later worked at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington as an appointment coordinator.

Chris loved travelling, especially cruising in the Caribbean. She loved the outdoors and could often be found by her pool.

She had a great zest for life. Her family was of utmost importance to her. As a mother, she was completely engaged and committed to her sons' upbringing and happiness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucy Audet.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Don and loving sons, Ryan and Gregory Lamb both of Bedford, dear sisters, Joanne and her husband Francis X. Kenney and Monica and her husband Paul R. Fournier, several nieces and nephews and her mother-in-law, Mary Lamb.

Her funeral will take place from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Wednesday, September 12, at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 10:00 AM.

Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 11, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
