Beverly F. Burak, 82, of Carlisle, died peacefully on December 15, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Concord on September 29, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Mason G. and Evelyn F. (Peters) Foss.

Beverly was raised in Concord and a graduate of Concord High School. For the last 70 years, she resided in Carlisle where she was well known in the community for her lush gardens and kindness and generosity.

For several years she worked in the Carlisle Public Schools.

Beverly loved cooking, gardening, and holidays with family.

She married the love of her life, Christopher J. Burak, in 1956. Together, they built their family home and tended their three-acre garden constantly throughout their lives, also tending to their vegetable stand, which they annually shared with the community.

She was known at Kimball Farm for her prize-winning salsa and delicious pepper jelly.

In 2015, her husband Christopher died suddenly, and Beverly continued to lovingly care for their gardens following his passing.

She is survived by her three children, Steven, Susan and Christopher, as well as her loving grandchildren, Nicole Gibbons, Amber Burak, Christopher Lowe, Shawn Lowe, Christopher Burak, Jr. and Chanel Eori and five great grandchildren, Hannah, Sawyer, Dustin, Derek and Ryan.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Thursday, June 3, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
