Benedict B. Letizi, 94, of Englewood, FL, formerly of Bedford, MA, died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 28, 2016.

Ben was born on February 16,1922 to Tito and Madeline (Palmieri) Letizi of Somerville, MA. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. (Churchey) for thirty-five years.

Devoted father of Mark Letizi and his wife, Maggie, of Sudbury, MA, Karen LaPointe of West Kingston, RI, and Janice Tatis and her husband, Rynold, of Nashua, NH. Proud grandfather of John and Daniel Letizi, Gregory LaPointe, and Lindsay and Alexandra Tatis. Loyal brother of Robert T. Letizi and his wife, Alice, of Venice, FL. Uncle to seven nieces and nephews. U.S. Marine Corps veteran WW II and member of Marine Corps League, Private Charles Shutt detachment.

Thirty-three year member of the Somerville, MA Fire Department.

Private burial services have been held.
