Beatrice L. Anderson's Obituary
Beatrice L. Anderson passed away on November 8, 2013, at her home in Bedford, MA at the age of 92.
Beatrice was born on March 14, 1921, in East Boston, MA, daughter of the late Michael and Amelia (DeChristoforo) Santamaria. After graduating from East Boston High School in 1938, Beatrice met George "Andy" Anderson with whom she was married for 65 years until his death in 2010.
Beatrice was raised in East Boston and resided in Bedford for 50 years. She enjoyed bowling, arts & crafts, and spending time with friends and family. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Bedford AMVETS, and an active member of the Bedford COA.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her sister, Evelyn Santamaria of East Boston, loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Burial will be at a later date in June 2014, in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guardian Angel Fund, MSPCA-Angell 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
