Barbara A. Sacco, 85, of Hudson, New Hampshire, formerly of Bedford, died peacefully on March 24, 2015, in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Mrs. Sacco was born in Boston, Mass. on May 9, 1929, and she was the daughter of the late James and Ella (Keane) Russell.

Mrs. Sacco was raised in Brighton and was a graduate of Brighton High School. She was a former employee of New England Confectionary Company the producers of the famous Necco Wafers.

While living in Bedford she was a member of St. Michael Parish. She moved York, Maine in 1991 and had lived in Hudson, New Hampshire since 2001.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was an avid shopper, card shark, talented dancer and dessert lover.

She was the devoted wife of Andrew J. Sacco, loving mother of five children and their spouses, William Sacco of Westford, Andrea Stickney of Windham, NH, Suzanne Workman of North Chelmsford, Kenneth Sacco of Trinity, FL and John Sacco of Nashua, NH, dear sister of James Russell of AZ and Mary Ellen Belanger of Hudson, NH, beloved grandmother of Tracey and Andrew Sacco, Megan Salois, Erin Stickney, Alyssa May, Gina Workman, Lindsay, Alexis, Cameron, Brendan, Shelby and Brady Sacco. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd., Bedford, on Friday, March 27, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 11:00 A.M.
