Barbara Ellis-Lamson, 86, of Newport, VT, formerly of Bedford, passed away after a long illness on September 3, 2017.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Lamson and Paul R. Ellis. She was the loving mother of Gaye Myers and her husband Joe of Lowell, VT, her son Richard Ellis and his wife Shirley of Burlington, MA and the late Marcia and Lynn Ellis, dear sister of Pauline Hoover of Lexington, loving grandmother of Brenda, Dawn Marie, Michael, and Dakota, step-grandmother of BJ, Aaron, Jason, Jamie, Shelby and Jillian, great grandmother of Clayton, Ashley, Colby, Joey and Taylor, aunt of Richard and Alan Hoover and Carole Goldfarb. Not to forget her best furry friend, Jack.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Saturday, September 9, from 9:00-10:30 followed by a graveside service at Shawsheen Cemetery, 15 Shawsheen Rd., Bedford, at 11:00 A.M.
