Arthur C. Lamson of Haverhill died on June 26, 2012, following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Lamson was born in Barre, Vermont on August 7, 1952, and was the son of the late Clair A. and Madeline (Withington) Lamson.

He was raised on his father's dairy farm in Barre and was a graduate of Spaulding High School. He later attended Northeastern University in Boston where he studied electrical engineering.

He had been employed at PerkinElmer in California where he was a project manager for several years. For the last eleven years he worked for Siemens in Walpole as an engineer for medical diagnostics.

Mr. Lamson enjoyed boating, fishing and fixing things. He was a former resident of Bedford and West Newbury.

He was the loving husband of thirty years to Barbara (Munro) Lamson. The
dear brother of Jeanne Hull of Barre, VT, Karen Bourbeau of Milton, VT and Kristin Gilbar of Barre, VT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Rd., Bedford, Fri., June 29, at noon.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thurs., June 28, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Interment will be in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
