Anthony S. Baudanza, 84, of Venice, FL and Pocasset, MA passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012, in Concord, MA after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease.

Beloved husband for 64 years of Helen Murphy Baudanza and loving father of Frank & Ginny Baudanza of Bedford, Tony & Jackie Baudanza of Mashpee, Bob Baudanza and Stacey Stanichuk of Tewksbury and Judy and Rusty Thornton of Hatfield. He had 8 grandchildren, Tracey Rossi of Marlborough, Joe Stepchew of Myrtle Beach, SC, Angela Murphy of Sudbury, Dan Stepchew of Del Mar, CA, Tom Baudanza of Bedford, TJ Baudanza of Boston, Lauri Baudanza of Milton, Robbie Baudanza of Lowell and 6 great grandchildren whom he loved and adored. He is also survived by a brother John of Woburn and many nieces and nephews.

Tony and Helen lived in Bedford, MA for many years where he started and operated Baudanza Electric before retiring and moving to Pocasset, MA.

He served 2 years on the Naval submarine tender USS Proteus during World War II.

Tony loved the game of golf and was long time member of Pocasset Country Club and Plantation Country Club in Venice, FL. He enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, and building projects. They enjoyed spending time in Florida during the winters for the past 30 years.

His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 21, at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd. Bedford, at 9:00 A.M. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thurs., Dec., 20, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.

Interment will be private.
