It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anita, loving wife, devoted mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched on April 17, 2023. We ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.

Anita had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. Anita loved to cook and bake, was an avid reader, enjoyed science fiction movies and her yearly Winter retreat to Fort Myers Beach, FL.

She was the beloved wife of Ralph Schuberth, loving mother of Eric Schuberth and his wife, Brenda, of Fremont, NH and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Albert Hughes, her mother Helen (Saunders) Hughes and her brothers Patrick Hughes and Ronald Lee.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Road, Bedford, MA on Friday, April 21 ^st from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  A family burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023
