Andrew Gianacoplis, 69, of Lowell, died peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2026.

He was the son of the late Pandy and Evelyn (Thresher) Gianacoplis.

He was born in Concord and lived in Bedford, moving to Chelmsford in 1959. He was educated in Chelmsford at the Stedman Street School.

Andrew lived a very blessed life, he loved his superhero action figures, of which there were many. He also enjoyed bowling and summer camp.

For the last five years, he lived with Linda Jacques and her family, who were his caregivers and made a happy home for him.

He is survived by his brother, Christopher and his wife Sandy Gianacoplis of Chelmsford, his sister, Karen Gianacoplis of Dracut, his niece and nephews, Christopher James Gianacoplis and his wife Sheila, Kim Fultz and her husband Robert and Jonathan Gianacoplis and his wife Ashley and several grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home, on Wednesday, January 14, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM followed by a short service.

Burial will be at a future date at Shawsheen Cemetery.
