Agrippino J. Russo, 95, of Bedford, formerly of Winchester and Arlington, died on December 23, 2015, in Weston.
Mr. Russo was born on March 29, 1920 in Winchester and was the last surviving son of the eight children born to the late Michael Russo and Maria (Bonaviri) Russo.
He was raised in Winchester and attended Winchester High School.
He served in the United States Army Air Corps from June of 1942 to December of 1945 as a Staff Sergeant during World War II.
After returning from overseas, he married Concetta LaTores in Somerville, on November 24, 1946 and shared 68 years of marriage until her death on December 25, 2014.
Mr. Russo worked as an instrument mechanic at Atlantic Gelatin in Woburn for 37 years. He lived in Arlington for 45 years before moving to Bedford 15 years ago.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Carol Heiser and her husband Lawrence of Billerica and Patricia Derderian of Bedford, grandchildren; Monica Derderian, Jeffrey Derderian and his wife Tracey of Bedford, and Anthony Heiser and his wife Ashley of TX, and Danielle Heiser of Billerica, great grandchildren; Ava and Gavin Derderian and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Anthony, Mary, Michael, Joseph, John, James and Louis Russo.
His funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Monday, December 28 at 8:00 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours will be at the funeral home on Sunday, December 27, from 12:00-3:00 PM.
