Agnes V. O'Keefe passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 18th, at the age of 89.
Born and raised in Brighton she graduated from Brighton High School and worked as an xray tech for over 40 years.
She and her husband, David D. O'Keefe moved to Bedford in the 70's with their children, Denis, Dorothy and Maureen to be closer to her parents Tom and Della Mullen, her sisters Gert Mullen and Dot Gavan and her brother, Tom Mullen.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother she taught us all to love God and the Red Sox. She prayed tirelessly for all her family and friends. She welcomed everyone to her home and tried to feed anyone that came through the door.
A skillful maker of baby outfits she was an amazing multi tasker, she could crochet baby outfits, watch the Red Sox, make dinner and tell stories all at the same time. We were blessed to have her touch our lives and teach us her gentle ways.
She loved her daughter-in-law, Terri and her son-in-law, Joe and all her nieces and nephews.
Her greatest joy was her grandchildren David and Mike O'Keefe and his wife Danielle, Katie and Joey Lopez and his wife Siobhan.
Our precious Nana will be in our hearts forever. We love you more Nana.
